Aldelo EDC Servercan be used for stand-alone credit card processing or will interface with Aldelo. When using it with Aldelo, the EDC Server will run in the background. When Aldelo does a credit card transaction, it passes the information along to the EDC Server to process the credit card. Then the credit card program will give Aldelo back the answer from the credit card processor. This whole operation works seamlessly and in the background within 3 to 5 seconds when using it over the internet.
